Green Beans with Honey-Mustard Glaze
Ingredients
- 2 pounds green beans, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons mustard seeds
- ⅓ cup rice vinegar
- ⅓ cup honey
Directions
Boil lightly-salted water in a large saucepan. Add green beans; cook, uncovered, until green beans are crisp-tender, about 7 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Dry the saucepan and return it to the stove over low heat. Add mustard seeds; stir and toast for about 1 minute or until they pop. Add vinegar and honey to the saucepan; cook until the sauce becomes syrupy. Add green beans; toss. SERVES 8
